Swiss Water Partnership – Swiss Expertise for a water secure world
The Swiss Water Partnership (SWP) is a multi-stakeholder platform bringing together around 70 Swiss organisations from academia, civil society, public and private sectors. Jointly, our members contribute to solving global water challenges by developing and implementing innovative solutions for water challenges in developing and transition countries.
Our vision is to be a globally recognized Swiss platform of high-quality transdisciplinary water solutions.
The envisioned impact of the Swiss Water Partnership is that Swiss knowhow and expertise contribute to global water security for sustainable development.

SWP Youth
Created in 2019 with the impetus of the Youth Strategy of the Swiss Water Partnership, SWP Youth aims at:
- enabling and empowering youth to participate in water-related discussions;
- creating an active community of young water professionals, students and future water leaders;
- acting as a platform for launching youth-led initiatives.
SWP Youth is an initiative for and by young people, aiming at strengthening the involvement of youth in the water for development sector, both in Switzerland and globally. SWP Youth offers youth a platform to organise and participate in trainings, mentorships and other capacity-building activities.
